Description

The pressure of the 2026 Winter Olympics is enough to shatter anyone, but for Blake and her rival, the stakes have never felt more personal. As a powerhouse hockey player, Blake is used to the grit and collision of the rink, a stark contrast to the ethereal precision of the figure skating world. When her path crosses with the ice queen of the skating circuit, the friction between them is immediate, electric, and impossible to ignore. What begins as a clash of personalities fueled by competitive tension quickly shifts into an undeniable attraction that threatens to distract them from their gold medal dreams. Set against the backdrop of the global stage, this sapphic romance captures the breathless intensity of elite sports and the vulnerability of falling in love when the world is watching. The imagery is so profound you can almost feel the chill of the arena and the heat of their stolen moments behind the scenes. This is a story about finding an anchor in the chaos, proving that the most difficult obstacles to overcome are often the ones protecting your own heart. Perfect for readers who crave high-stakes drama blended with genuine, slow-burn intimacy, this romance delivers a winning performance.

A compelling story that takes place at the Olympics!e

I found this to be a compelling read. I will admit that I'd put it down to absorb what I just read. I love how Blake was able to "handle" the ice queen Imani. The BDSM scenes were many and hot! All consensual! I really found this book so interesting and worthy of 5 stars!!

Ice queen

3.75 ⭐️ 4🌶 Ice queen should be synonymous with figure skating. Their royal air, the grace, the stature, the beauty on ice all adding to this illusion. Imani, reflects that but also the human aspect of an athlete dealing with self doubt and an eating disorder. Her own self distortion feeding into her self destruction. Blake is the perfect foil to her. The self assured captain of team usa hockey. an open non binary player with heart of gold. Her dominant personality helping to taper the chaos of Imani's self sabotage. I liked the way their relationship unfolded, helping each other to come to terms with their own fears and short comings. Each learning the dance of give and take to help support a healthy dynamic over time. tropes: bdsm, eating disorder, cinnamon roll, ice queen, forced proximity, and touch of enemies to lovers.
