Description

Lee is a professional football powerhouse, a woman whose life is measured in yardage and high-stakes pressure. Babs is a magnetic force in the world of music, a rockstar who thrives in the spotlight but secretly craves a slower pace. They exist in entirely different orbits, separated by the stark divide between the gridiron and the stadium stage. When a chance encounter brings them together in the heart of the rugged West, the friction between their worlds is immediate. As they navigate the complexities of their careers and their identities, they discover a connection that defies every expectation. Their journey is one of profound vulnerability and hard-won trust, proving that the most unexpected matches are often the ones worth fighting for. This is a story about finding a home in someone else, even when you come from completely different sides of the map. With a perfect blend of high-energy sports intensity and the soulful intimacy of a sweeping romance, Babs and Lee show that love has no playbook. Charming, deeply moving, and refreshingly honest, this romance celebrates the courage it takes to be true to yourself while opening your heart to a love you never saw coming.

I really enjoyed this book

A couple of people who would move in different circles and you would never expect to come together. Yet fate does bring them together to find love together in an uncertain world. A book for all you dreamers out there. It’s early in the year, but this could well end up being my favorite book of the year.

Awesome sapphic love story in Wyoming!

Airs Above the Ground is the latest great story from Alex Washoe. The story is charming, moving and fun. Babs and Lee are a great match. A great level of relationship tension that pairs well with the background story of the horse community and state politics is intricate, fun and well researched!
