Description

Julian Thorne is a man defined by his father’s dark legacy and the ruthless power he wields to keep his secrets buried. He expects the world to fear him, and he expects everyone to stay out of his way. That is until he crosses paths with the one person who refuses to back down. Silas is everything Julian shouldn't want: a challenge, a distraction, and a mirror reflecting the parts of himself he tries to hide. Caught in a web of suspense where morality is flexible and loyalties are bought, these two men find themselves locked in an intense game of cat and mouse that quickly blurs the line between hatred and desire. This enemies-to-lovers story is a masterclass in tension, featuring two deeply flawed protagonists who are impossible not to root for. The chemistry is electric, fueled by a push-and-pull dynamic that leaves both men questioning their own motives. If you crave a romance that balances high-stakes suspense with raw, emotional vulnerability, this is your next obsession. It is a gritty, gripping journey of discovery where the most dangerous thing they face might just be the undeniable connection growing between them. Prepare for a story that stays with you long after the final page.

🖤📖My little fighter likes to play games. And my little lord likes control❤️✏️

"I want to show him who I am, want to give him a taste of why people fear me, but at the same time, the way he challenges me, tries to push me to the edge and take control, is like I'm breathing for the first time." "I don't know what he has to be so angry about. He has everything he could ever want. He's lived a privileged life. He's the little lord who will one day be the king of his empire. That's what his name means. Little f****** lord." "Sometimes I hate myself as much as I hate the O'Sheas." "My little fighter likes to play games." "And my little lord likes control." "I take everything Tiernan can give me, this, being with him, making me feel more alive than anything ever has. It's like I'd been in the dark and didn't know it, like I've been asleep and now I'm awake." "I really do want to own him. To possess him. But the worst part is, I really want to give myself to him, too." "Revenge is sweet. But you don't have to worry about that. If anyone hurts you, I'll f****** kill them. Until I'm done with you, you don't even have to worry about anyone looking at you wrong." "This is where I belong...with you...in you...filled with you...protecting you, partners with you." "I'm not a good person, but I will f****** burn down the world for you if you ask, and I want you exactly how you are. We can take on this world together, just like we did tonight." "I f****** want you, you a******. I smile. Six words work just as well as three." "Good play, but if you want my…

Revenge is hard to achieve when love gets in the way

I was blessed to read an Advanced Reader Copy of Bittersweet Revenge. Oh, boy, this book was everything! Dean hasn't always been known by that name, but it's one he wears comfortably now out of necessity. A freshman at Ashford University, he's finally taking the steps to do what he knows he must: get revenge by killing Sloan O'Shea, the man that took his father's life and forced Dean and his mother into hiding. Everything has been leading up to this moment, and the last step is to befriend Sloan's own son, Tiernan. But Tiernan surprises him. Beneath the ruthless exterior, Tiernan is just a normal man born into the life, desperate to prove himself to his father and to protect the ones he loves. Dean is surprised by Tiernan's soft side, and the longer he is in Tiernan's orbit, the more he is charmed by his secretly loving nature. But the secrets Dean is keeping are killing him slowly, because all the lies are adding up, and Dean knows he doesn't deserve Tiernan's trust. As the clock keeps ticking and Sloan gets more and more demanding of Tiernan's time, Dean knows he has to make a move. He either has to pull the trigger and do what needs to be done...or come clean and accept the fallout, whatever that may be. Either option could lose him Tiernan, but what other choice does he have? His only hope is that his love for Tiernan will outweigh the betrayal, but that's a lot to ask for. After all, men have been killed for less. Gah, this book was so good. I loved Dean so much. His…
