Description

They were inseparable as children, two boys bound by the quiet intimacy of childhood summers and the secrets shared behind closed doors. For Julian and Silas, home was not a place, but the space between their two houses. But life is rarely kind to the young, and the sudden, devastating weight of loss tore them apart before they could ever name the intensity of what they felt. Years later, the past is a ghost that refuses to stay buried. When they collide again, the boyish innocence is replaced by a simmering, dangerous obsession that threatens to consume them both. This is not a simple story of rekindled affection; it is a raw, psychological exploration of grief, the wreckage of first love, and the desperate need to reclaim what was stolen by time. Carmen Wilder delivers a masterclass in emotional storytelling, balancing heart-wrenching tragedy with the soaring, fragile hope of a second chance. It is a beautiful, heart-ripping journey through the shadows of memory and the light of devotion. If you are looking for a romance that lingers in your mind long after the final page, this masterful tale of longing and redemption will leave you breathless.

She did it again

Carmen Wilder has done it again. She’s written another beautiful, tragic, heart ripping novel. This was a page turner. Once I picked it up, I couldn’t put it down. Wilder does a beautiful job of capturing raw, human emotion and the repercussions of such. You won’t regret this read. The emotional roller coaster is worth the brilliance!!! HEA 4L

I'm not sure how to feel exactly

Both characters went thru alot of stuff. One MC was going thru terrible things at home & The other mentally. Instead of both leaning on each other. One loved the other unconditionally and needed him. The other wasnt cruel but played with the other so emotionally it got to the point I didnt want them together anymore. I understand why he did it but I felt like they didnt belong. I didnt like the ending. Up to 88% of the book there not together. The "villian" got in trouble but we dont have any conclusion. Idk. This had alot of possibilities but its been a long time since I didnt want the couple to be a couple.

Blue is the first book I have read by this author and I am looking forward to reading more. This was such a beautiful and emotional read about childhood friends Roman and Cassian. I really enjoyed reading to their hard earned HEA.
