Description

Ivy has spent an eternity longing for a life that was ripped away from her. After the soul-shattering events of the first installment, she is left with a singular, consuming obsession: Emma. But in a world where heaven and hell collide, nothing is simple. Emma has no memory of the bond they once shared, leaving Ivy to navigate the agonizing silence of being forgotten by the only person who ever made her feel whole. This second chapter of the After the Breaking series raises the stakes with a fierce blend of gritty urban fantasy and high-heat romance. As Ivy struggles to reclaim her past, she finds herself pulled into a dangerous game of shadows, demons, and celestial warfare. The chemistry between them is electric, burning with a raw intensity that fans of the series have come to crave. This is a story about the resilience of love, the weight of forgotten memories, and the fight to choose each other again against impossible odds. Whether you are here for the heart-pounding combat, the supernatural intrigue, or the slow-burn tension that eventually explodes into undeniable spice, this second chance journey promises to leave you breathless, yearning for every stolen moment.

loved it! 10/10 recommend

Loved this book. Yes, it started a little slow for me, but once it hit? I was feral. Could not put it down. The spice was *chef’s kiss* and that one scene? Whew. Dante, that imagination of yours is creative (wink wink). Also, if there’s another book in this series and a certain chew toy is involved… I swear, if anything happens to them, I will riot. That character was everything, and the absolute silliness they brought to the story made it even better.

New Twist on Demons and Angels

This book was so good! I loved the set up of 2 chapters for one character then switching to one chapter for another POV. It allowed for more story-telling without the chapters feeling rushed. Honestly had no idea where Coebin's character was gonna go, and I wish we got a little bit more background after the reveal. Great dynamics, in love with the protective spouse trope!

Book two

This book was just as good, if not better, than the original one! All Ivy desires on this earth is Emma, and Emma has completely forgotten her existence. I was captivated by this story as quickly as I could turn on my Kindle. Dante, you did an excellent job, and now, please give us a third book, if possible!
