Description

The halls of St. Jude’s Hospital are glowing with festive lights, but for the staff in the NICU, the holiday season brings a unique intensity. As temperatures drop and the city prepares for celebration, the pressure within the unit rises, demanding everything from those who have dedicated their lives to the smallest patients. Amidst the hum of monitors and the quiet grace of midnight shifts, a spark ignites between two women whose professional commitment is only matched by their growing, undeniable connection. This installment in the Pulse Medical series balances the poignant reality of life-and-death stakes with the warmth of a winter romance. It captures the essence of finding love in the most challenging of settings, where the fragility of life reminds us to hold those we care for just a little tighter. Whether you are catching up on the series or seeking a standalone story of resilience and passion, this book offers a heartfelt look at the sacrifices made by medical professionals and the powerful comfort found in a shared embrace during the coldest time of the year. Experience a narrative where the spirit of Christmas is defined not by gifts, but by the quiet, transformative power of love.

spicy & nice

The continuing saga of this hospital has a very Christmasy theme as a backdrop for love & caring. No romantic book would be worth reading without a little spice & drama. This has both!

What a beautiful heart warming story.

Grace Parks has delivered in the NICU! She is a finesse writer, so in tune with her setting. This challenging setting one often of sadness, has been taken on a ride to the happy side with love at Christmas. The characters are real in my heart. The angst of finally realizing life is better when one feels something for someone special, the anxiety of letting others in, for finally knowing your upbringing was not perfect. Than taking a chance on oneself can be a blessing, is so much more important in life! This is a great read!

Play it safe

Asha is a neonatal doctor and works with Max an RN. They are very different people wow Max loves Christmas, Asha is very cold and straightforward. When the relationship develops between them, problems arise. I found the plot very good and the character is excellent. This is a sweet love story and I recommend it to all romance readers.
