Description

Amy is standing at a crossroads where professional ambition meets a long-suppressed personal awakening. As a young woman navigating the high-stakes environment of a cutthroat corporate office, she expects to focus entirely on her career trajectory. Instead, she finds herself caught in a magnetic pull between two powerful women who challenge everything she thought she knew about desire, autonomy, and her own identity. This story explores the messy, exhilarating reality of self-discovery through a lens of raw intensity. The workplace dynamic is charged with friction, where every interaction is a calculated move in a game of power and vulnerability. As the lines between mentorship and passion blur, Amy must decide if the price of success is worth the cost of her heart. Readers have fallen hard for this unapologetic romance, praising the visceral emotional stakes and the scorching chemistry that burns through every page. While the path to fulfillment is complicated by shifting loyalties and difficult choices, the journey is undeniably transformative. If you crave a story that balances deep character growth with electrifying tension and intimate, breathless encounters, this is the book that will stay with you long after the final chapter concludes.

LOVED seeing the light!

This is one of my favorite books. It's pretty perfect; it almost hurt to finish it because I didn't want it to end. Amy's journey of self discovery is believable and relatable -- work crush and romance. Sarah is seriously one of the sexiest characters I've read. Well written, good plot and story that will keep you on the edge of your seat! Romance and spice that left me wanting to know more about these great characters and their lives -- hope a sequel is on the way C? Please, please, please :)

Ethically problematic, at best

No applause for the casual acceptance of adultery/cheating and a big thumbs-down for an executive who dispenses career boosts in exchange for sexual favors. Hello, Harriet Weinstein! Add to that the undeveloped characters and shallow emotional development... That's two hours of my life I'm not getting back. Hard to believe it's the same author who produced Her Miss Perfect.
