Description

What happens when the person you are absolutely certain you cannot stand becomes the only person who truly understands you? Andrew might be the worst, but somehow, he is also the one you cannot stop thinking about. This enemies-to-lovers romance is a masterclass in earned chemistry, balancing sharp, snarky banter with a core of genuine, heart-melting tenderness. It is the kind of story that feels like a warm, sexy hug, leaving you with a permanent smile long after the final page. As the sparks fly and the walls come down, Andrew and his counterpart navigate the messy, beautiful complexities of attraction and self-discovery. The character development is rich and thoughtful, grounding the humor in real emotional depth. Readers have fallen hard for the witty dialogue and the way this story manages to be both hilariously chaotic and deeply sweet. If you are looking for a romance that feels authentic, inclusive, and impossibly charming, this is the perfect addition to your shelf. Prepare to be frustrated, charmed, and ultimately swept away by a connection that proves love often arrives in the most contingent of ways. This is a must-read for anyone who loves a slow-burn journey toward a hard-won happily ever after.

A Rom-Com esque story with enemies to lovers and lots of spice!

Enemies to lovers •• forced proximity •• workplace romance •• Steamy first times with a man •• Fake relationship •• Andrew and Lucas's story is quite explosive, these two have been enemies practically since they met. They've never gotten along, mainly due to misunderstanding or in some cases just simply not trying to get to know one another. Once they both get assigned to show locations to their biggest clients yet, they're forced to spend time together in a forced proximity environment. And thanks to Andrew's lie they have to pretend to be boyfriends... What could go wrong? I was expecting this to be more of an angst driven plot but wow, this was so much more than what I was expecting. You could really feel how much these two men truly loathed each other in the beginning. They couldn't stand to be in the same room together let alone talk to each other and pretend to be a couple. I liked how gradually overtime they got to know one another better, even when it was through snarky remarks or pointed jabs, they each slowly revealed a new layer to each other they hadn't seen or known about prior. The banter these two have is interesting for sure, they have their own type of love language. Like how Andrew's insult towards Lucas got turned into Lucas's bizarre pet-name, it was quirky and the dialogue was funny to read. I LOVE the role Andrew's cousin and cousin in law played, that are absolutely hilarious and are really supportive side characters. I adored them! Something else…
