Description

Ezra Palaszczuk and Anton Hayes are the two biggest egos in the Boston hockey scene, and they have spent years making sure everyone knows it. As teammates, they are forced to share the same ice, but off the rink, they are strictly rivals. Their relationship is built on sharp-tongued banter, constant one-upmanship, and a sizzling tension that threatens to boil over every time they are in the same room. When circumstances force these two stubborn superstars into closer proximity, the lines between hatred and desire begin to blur. They have spent so much energy trying to outdo one another that they never stopped to consider what might happen if they finally gave in to the pull between them. What starts as a clash of personalities quickly evolves into a high-stakes game of hearts where neither man is prepared to lose. This story delivers the ultimate rivals-to-lovers experience, packed with hilarious commentary, intense locker-room dynamics, and a slow-burn connection that feels earned and authentic. It is a brilliant mix of sports-driven adrenaline and deep emotional discovery. If you love stories where the chemistry is electric and the banter is just as sharp as the skates, this is your next obsession.

Rivals to lovers story that is fiery, fun and HOT!!!

I completely devoured this book in 1 day!!! Snarky banter, hilarious commentary, HOT spice that hits early, and a rivals dynamic that was just so addicting to read that I was HOOKED from the start! Just a FANTASTIC MM hockey romance!! I have read and loved books by these authors separately but together they make magic with addicting storylines and characters that keep you entranced into the book! I have now read the first 2 books in this series and already downloaded the 3rd! 🏒MM Romance 🏒Hockey 🏒Rivals to Lovers 🏒Low Angst 🏒All The Spice Anton and Ezra just moved up the list as some of my fav characters! They start out as two rival hockey players with opposite personalities that created tension and banter that was off the charts!! It’s one of those rivals to lovers storylines that is addicting to read as not only is their banter and snarky commentary hilarious but off the ice their dynamic is exactly the same creating the best push/pull in the bedroom! Even as they heat up, their rivalry doesn’t just instantly change either but instead develops gradually and realistically throughout the story which I loved! Add in the personal growth that Anton goes through with publicizing his sexuality and it all just created a phenomenal storyline and is a new favorite MM romance for me! AUDIO: Do yourself a favor and get this one on audio!!!! Iggy Toma and Alexander Cendese could not have been more perfectly casted for Anton & Ezra! They both fit the personalities of these…

Unexpected Success

I so did not expect to enjoy this book as much as I did! I’ve heard about this series for ages and always put it off because the blurb felt like every other MM hockey blurb out there. And trust me, this book isn’t winning any awards for original ideas or characters anytime soon. But you cannot read this book and deny that it was entertaining. I’m a sucker for banter and I quite enjoyed the dialogue between our MMCs. Ezra could be a bit much sometimes with his innuendos but once you knew more about his history and fears, it all was a lot easier to stomach. Anton was a surprise because I expected from the first few chapters that he was going to be a bit uptight and boring, but I loved how he held his own with Ezra’s antics and that he gave as good as he got. While the story wasn’t anything new, I still really enjoyed the characters and love story. I could have used more scenes showing how these two fit together outside of the bedroom, and for that it lost a star, but the rest of it was fun and entertaining while still having some character arcs that helped to carry the plot. This is also an interesting world because I didn’t realize going into it that there would be so many call backs to other Eden Finley books and characters. I’ve read almost all of the ones referenced in this book but so long ago that most of the characters felt new to me. I never struggled to understand the story so it’s safe to say you don’t need to have read all of Eden Finley’s backlog to enjoy this…
