Forbidden Girl

This is easily one of my favorite renditions of "Romeo and Juliet" because 1. it's a mafia romance and 2. it's sapphic! I thought I was going to take my time with this story - read it over 2-3 days. Nope - I read this in one day! I couldn't stop...it was so good!! It was sweet, steamy, romantic, thrilling, a little ironic in the end... everything you want your mafia romances to be. ❤️ You won't be disappointed with this story!

Decent read.

I enjoy a good sapphic mafia story, and this did not disappoint. The MC’s were well described and developed, and their chemistry was hot. I got a kick out of Juliet’s mother, who turned out to be quite the asset. There was good suspense, however, the story seemed to end abruptly. Other than that, it was a good book.

A Romance In The Middle Of A Mafia War!

I read Kristen Zimmer’s first book a while ago. This one peaked my interest as I enjoy the mafia stories. This was really good and I love the two women involved in the forbidden romance. Kristen built the characters, Rowan and Julia, extremely well. Each having fathers who head their own team in the mafia war. Hating each other and expecting their daughters to follow the same. But a chance meeting in a bar has drawn Rowan to Julia and their connection to each other is undeniable. But both fathers are out of control and the people getting hurt are Rowan and Julia. I loved the story and the big showdown. I did think the ending was cut short. I had a couple of questions that were not settled especially Julia’s Mom. Maybe there a sequel in the works.
