Description

Bo and Cam have spent years perfecting the art of being just friends, carefully guarding their hearts behind layers of shared jokes and unspoken longing. They are the definition of a slow burn, trapped in a delicate dance where one wrong move could shatter the foundation of their entire existence. Bo is the gentle, steady anchor Cam never knew he needed, while Cam provides the fierce loyalty that keeps Bo grounded. Their dynamic is the perfect blend of agonizing tension and heart-melting sweetness, making every stolen glance feel like a seismic shift in their world. As they navigate the messy intersection of friendship and desire, they must confront the fears that kept them apart for so long. This story is a masterclass in emotional stakes, balancing high-octane drama with the quiet, intimate moments that define a true soul-deep connection. Readers adore these two idiots for their relatability and the sheer, palpable chemistry that radiates from every page. If you crave a romance that hits every emotional beat with precision, this journey of healing, vulnerability, and eventual surrender is exactly what you need. It is a testament to the power of love that survives the fractures of the past to find a beautiful, permanent home.

Sophie Emaculada Quinn!

These two idiots were afreakingdorable. I just loved their relationship dynamic and the slow-burning build-up from friendship to more was everything. I was excited and happy when they gave in to their attraction but I yelled "FINALLY" when they both gave in to their feelings for one another. This book had all the feels, cuteness overload, and the spice was spicing. Bo and Cam were made for each other. I loved their deep connection and all the inside jokes they shared, CUTE! Their story is just so heartwarming and left me feeling so happy. I also am obsessed with Noah and now I need to go back and read book 1 in the series so I can get his and Jamie's full story. I mean if anything read this book for the banter alone in this tightly knit group of friends they make. Tropes: MM romance Best friends to lovers Childhood friends Queer awakening Golden retriever MMC Forced proximity Size difference Slow-burn Found family Dual POV Check TW This is book 3 in the series but can be read as a standalone though characters are interconnected. I can't wait to read more by this author, i enjoyed the writing, dialogue, and characters so much. PS- can I get all the recipes Cam makes for Bo in this book?! Please and thank you. Thank you Sophie Quinn for the opportunity to read this book.

🍓🍌🍓ARC REVIEW🍓🍌🍓

“I love making you smile.” Bo & Cam 😍 Their story was filled with tension, drama and so much angst!!!! It was perfect 👌🏽 Bo was the sweetest, but Cam had my heart. He struggled so much 🥹 his exes were terrible and mean. He was a cutie pie. He needed someone who wouldn't leave him and that was Bo. He just had to open his eyes and realize it... The friendship between Noah and Bo was adorable and fantastic. I loved them more than Mark and Noah 🤷🏽‍♀️😅 Noah is such a character, he's the best 😂 I freaking loved Jamie even more!! He has had the best character development in this series. He's still grumpy but his relationship with Cam was amazing. He gave such good advice, that whole scene was sweet, hilarious and perfect. ❤️‍🩹 I enjoyed this book so so much!! I can't wait to find out more about Aiden!! He was so over Cam's relationship drama 🤣 He's very intriguing. I'm looking forward to his story and I hope its with Sawyer, even though he's looking for a unicorn 😂 “I’m not running ever again, Bo. I've always been yours.”

it’s good

I liked it. I’m so glad Bowen is full Chinese and Cam I think is some kind of Spanish. So many books to have an Asian MC they’re always half Asian and half white falling in love with a white MC I love the diversity it’s refreshing. Only issue I didn’t like was that during the book both character while coming to terms with their love for one another still sleep with other people. I just felt like Cam didn’t do enough to make up to Bo. The years he’s used Bo as a crutch. Also we never learn anything after Cam and his dad even though he plays a big part in why Cam is the way he is. We also don’t hear anything from Bo’s family even though they’re close with Cam cause they took care of him after his dad went to prison. Also Cam never clears the air and tells Bo about his conversation with Siena even though they’re say they don’t hide things from one another. Only about 10% of the book do we finally get to ready where Bo and Cam are finally together I just wished we had it earlier on and so we can read the dynamic of it and how it affects them and where we can have more moments where we feel their love and connection. Also we emphasis on Bowen being a bottom virgin and I just wished there was more emphasis and how special Bowen and Cams first time together is.
