Description

The pursuit of justice takes a dangerous turn when the lines between professional duty and personal desire begin to blur. As a high-stakes football season reaches its fever pitch, Dr. Elena Vance finds herself caught in the crosshairs of a chilling investigation. The city is gripped by the shadow of a serial killer, and every lead points toward a truth more complex than any medical diagnosis she has ever encountered. Elena is a woman defined by her precision, yet her life unravels the moment Detective Sarah Thorne enters her orbit. Their connection is as intense as the pressure on the field, sparking a romance that defies the chaos surrounding them. In a world where every heartbeat counts and every secret is a potential death sentence, trusting the wrong person could be the final mistake. This gripping sequel masterfully weaves together the grit of a police procedural with the emotional depth of a literary romance. It is a story about finding intimacy amidst the darkness of a hunt and the courage required to love when everything else is falling apart. Experience a narrative where the stakes are life and death, and the only thing more unpredictable than the killer is the human heart.

Awesome,

Book #2 is so good, but it's unfortunate that I won't be able to read book #3 because it's not Kindle Unlimited. I noticed that about another series I was wanting to continue reading. I own the 1st book in the Alex Hope series.

Double Trouble

The saga continues with a sinister twist at the end of this book. I would be remiss if I did not acknowledge that the grammatical errors and syntax were greatly approved in this novel. Decreasing interruptions and improving read flow. This novel is starting to use the same "formula" as book 1, which equals predictability. However, it's still holding interest. Thus, there is a book 3, which I hope is the conclusion. Happy Reading
