Description

Allen never expected his life to take a medical turn that would redefine his very existence. When a routine procedure leads to an unexpected hormonal shift, the man who once walked through life with quiet reserve finds himself transitioning into Alana. This sudden change is as disorienting as it is profound, forcing her to navigate a new identity while reconciling the person she was with the woman she is becoming. Amidst the confusion of appointments and physical changes, Alana finds an anchor in Cole. As her professional partner and dearest friend, Cole witnesses Alana’s transformation firsthand. What begins as a supportive friendship slowly deepens into something far more intimate, challenging the boundaries of their long-standing bond. Together, they confront the complexities of attraction, self-acceptance, and the courage it takes to embrace one’s true self. This heartfelt medical romance explores the beauty of metamorphosis and the strength found in unconditional support. It captures the nuance of Alana’s journey as she learns to love the person she sees in the mirror. Warm, tender, and deeply human, this story celebrates the discovery of identity and the realization that the most significant prescriptions are the ones that finally allow us to be whole.

Great short romance story

Loved this short romance story, well written, though the images accompanying it weren't a good fit and too cartoonish. One more editing pass might have caught a funny error -- Cole introducing himself to Alana's parents as "I'm Alana's girlfriend."

Friends to lovers

Going from Allen to Alana wasn't her choice but she handled well. Her working partner and best friend Cole also made the transition from his best friend to her best friend and then lover. Perfect story.

Worst AI possible

The story is, as usual with a Lilly Lust wood story, very good. The inclusion of illustration, a growing trend in e-books because of AI, can be ok AR at least unobtrusive. The illustrations in the edition I read, are very poor. Manga drawn by an astigmatic, Downs Syndrome individual. They add nothing to the story.
