Hard is always good...

*cues up You Are My Sunshine to play softly in the background* With their names finally cleared, the Hard Ink crew is adjusting to being free to live normal lives. They've all found their soul mates, have started their new business, and are looking forward to the future. It's a beautiful thing. This story, while it includes all of our beloved characters, does mainly focus on Nick and Becca, the couple that started it all. As Becca adjusts to working again and the aftereffects of her attack, she asks Nick for…

but the couples of quickly become my favorite contemporary heroes

I think what I love the most about the series is how refreshing and thrilling the novels have turned out. Before Laura Kaye and her military men of Hard Ink I was not a fan of romantic suspense and now that has all changed. I am not going to hide the fact that Nick and Becca have been my top choice for favorites out of all the characters. When I learned that the author was allowing an open poll for readers to have a bonus, marriage book from the Hard Ink I instantly voted for both Nick and Becca. I was beyond excited when I learned the news that the couple had won and this is book has quickly became a second best-loved novella. Like the previous novels this book took off with a punch with the duo trying to focus on their wedding plans as well as moving forward with their future. The past however is determined not to allow the twosome to have their own HEA ending. The book had a powerful, outstanding romance that sizzled with steamy love scenes followed by intense action scenes. By far I was not disappointed by any means with this book. The novella has to be one of the most well written novellas that I have ever had the pleasure of reading. I would not only suggest reading this farewell novella from Hard Ink, but if you haven't already read the series it…
