Description

Grief is a heavy cloak, but sometimes it takes a brush with the ethereal to help you shed it. Elara has spent years tethered to the silence of her past, haunted not just by the memories of a life lost, but by the lingering presence of spirits who refuse to move on. When she crosses paths with Seraphina, a woman whose own heart is scarred by trauma and hidden depths, the connection is instantaneous and unsettlingly familiar. Their journey is one of profound karmic healing, a slow-burn romance that defies the boundaries between the living and the departed. As they navigate the delicate space between heartbreak and hope, they discover that their souls have been intertwined across lifetimes. This is not merely a story of falling in love; it is a testament to the resilience required to trust again after everything has been taken away. Through psychic whispers and the gentle guidance of those who watch from the beyond, Elara and Seraphina must confront their deepest fears to claim the second chance they both deserve. Warm, atmospheric, and deeply moving, this story offers a sanctuary for anyone who believes that love is the ultimate bridge between worlds.

Epic journey of trust and risking something unexpected

Heart of Love is an incredible story about resilience and trust between 2 women who feel broken in different yet intertwined ways. The wide array of intense and at times very painfully displayed and navigated emotions make this a rollercoaster of epic Sapphic connection. As with other books in this series, one of the most striking things for me was the open and often frank discussions regarding intimacy. Thus far in the series each couple has had their own history to navigate, making each book unique. I am in a place personally where the emotion and relationship journeys that bring the MCs together speaks to me loudly in a very validating measure. I really loved the relatable characters. This book at this moment was such an unexpected gift. It’s one more reason I have become such a quick fan of V. Dalmatina. There is not a negative piece to say about this book. If you’re afraid to cry before you smile and LOL read one of her other books. Tears flowed with this one for a bit. I am grateful I was given the opportunity to read and share this review after receiving an ARC from the author.

Great romance

I really enjoyed reading this slow burn romance, the hope and healing in it were very encouraging. Recovering from the death of a loved one can be so difficult, but it was handled well in this emotional romance. I am really enjoying all the books in this series.
