Heart of Stone: A Holy Love Karmic Age-Gap Ice Queen Romance (Heart 3)

Heart of Stone was an unexpected journey. I am not sure what I thought this book in the series would include but I was pleasantly surprised with the occupations and personalities of the MCs in this book. I am grateful that I have read other books in this series as the more I read all the stories tie together in ways I had no insight into before beginning with Heart of Salt. I am so engaged with these characters that I believe that this should be a never-ending series (understanding the impossibility of such an option). This book has some trigger topics, but they are so transparently dealt with that it was smooth reading for me. Others might find it a bit of a challenge. One of my favorite pieces of this book is the locale. The descriptions of the islands and the water along with the many different dwellings adds so much to the gravity of the story as it locale plays such a part in the MCs adventure to their new lives. This was a book I will read again… the series I have read to this point are all books I will read again. They are ugly cry and feel-good potential all rolled up in one book. V. Dalmatina is incredible with their ability to grab you and let you live the journey of each book with the characters. I am grateful that I was given the opportunity to read and am sharing this review with folks hoping you will find the gifts I have with reading such great work.
