Description

Preston is the kind of character who stays with you long after the final page, a man whose complex layers and hidden vulnerabilities will leave you desperate to offer him the comfort he so rarely finds for himself. In this gripping enemies to lovers hockey romance, the tension between the protagonists crackles with electric intensity, fueled by a shared history that is as volatile as it is magnetic. This story is far more than a typical sports romance; it is a raw, emotional journey that balances high-stakes athletic pressure with the profound weight of personal trauma and healing. You will find yourself swept up in a narrative that masterfully blends sharp banter and scorching spice with moments of such poignant sincerity that they are bound to bring a tear to your eye. Whether it is the gritty backdrop of the rink or the tender, quiet spaces where these men finally confront their pasts, every scene is crafted with heart and authenticity. Readers have called it an unforgettable experience, praising its perfect marriage of plot, character growth, and genuine chemistry. If you are looking for a story that challenges, breaks, and ultimately mends your heart, this special edition is an absolute must-read.

Just read it

I devoured this book! It was my first Andi Jaxon book and it did not disappoint. Not only did we get plot, spice and growth, but also all the feelings. There were some parts I was getting teary eyed. I love when a book can do that, but also have everything else with it. These characters will always be in my top favorites.

Hidden Scars

I just finished this book and let me say, it was so well written, it made me cry in certain chapters. The way Preston was written made me want to hug him. Don't want to spoil anything so I'll just say: Christmas. IYKYK. This is my first book I've read by this author and I will be reading more by her.
