Home run!!!

I have waited for this book forever and it was absolutely worth the wait and I couldn’t put it down! It was amazing and a grand slam out of the park! After the drama with Jasmine and cliffhanger in Traded of their relationship being discovered, I couldn’t wait to see how everything plays out and if Aron and Drew get their HEA. The story picks up right where Traded ends and the story just gets better from there. I loved seeing their relationship grow even with all the bumps and drama along the way. Their characters have such a great dynamic. They both face challenges to be with each other from Drew and his ex drama to Aron dealing with his issues around relationships to be with Drew in addition to the scrutiny they face of their relationship. But they have great characters who support them-who couldn’t love Joel and Francine and their romance weaved into the book. I loved the other characters are written as well and can’t wait to read their stories. This author duo is just amazing and look forward to reading more from them in the future. I received an early copy of this book and this is my honest and fair review.

Great read.

I have not come across a great book for sometime now and I was beginning to wonder if all mm authors were just peddling the same lacklustre trope these days. Traded and Outed are a welcome reprieve . The only things I didn't like were Aron leaving Rockies ,Aron and Drew not winning a world series championship together and Drew retiring. This last one happens in almost all the sports novels I have read. Is it a general requirement??? I love that Drew and Aron went for surrogacy instead of the adoption most authors prefer. If heterosexual couples get to have biological kids, why not gay men? Still,a different egg donor would have been preferable so Haley doesn't see the kids as hers. Overall, very good read

This is book two in the Off the Field Duet and it is not a standalone. Book one, Traded, must be read prior to this one as it picks up where the first book left off. Aron and Drew have been through the ringer and have to deal with the repercussions of their actions. Together they are strong and can weather anything that comes their way. However, when Drew’s ex comes knocking again, will the boys be able to stay together or will it be the straw that breaks the camel’s back? Adding to the drama, is the budding friendship between the parents…will it lead to more? The authors have done an outstanding job with the conclusion of this duet. There is so much packed into these pages from being understanding to supporting one’s choices, and the love of family and friends. The chemistry between Aron and Drew is a home run and watching their relationship develop will bring out all the feels and may lead to some teachable moments.
