Description

Julian is a brilliant surgeon whose life is defined by cold precision and the sterile walls of a modern hospital, while Arthur is a man of old-world charm, navigating the stifling expectations of his aristocratic lineage and his vast business empire. Their friendship has been the quiet, steady heartbeat of their lives for years, a safe harbor built on unspoken longing and shared history. When a medical crisis forces them into close quarters, the careful boundaries they have maintained begin to crumble, revealing a magnetic attraction that refuses to be ignored. This story masterfully blends the elegance of Regency-era sensibilities with the high-stakes intensity of a contemporary billionaire romance. You will find yourself anchored by the slow-burn evolution of a deep, lifelong friendship turning into a passionate, undeniable love. It is a rare gem that captures the vulnerability of self-discovery and the thrill of finally claiming what you have always wanted. Whether you are a devoted fan of romance or a newcomer to the genre, this narrative will hold you captive with its raw emotional honesty and sizzling chemistry. Experience a journey of the heart where the divide between duty and desire finally disappears, leaving only the truth of two souls becoming one.

Amazing book that sucks you right in!

This book is fantastic... a must read. I wasn't sure I would enjoy it at first but oh was I surprised. This is one of those books you can't put down once you start reading, one where you actually question if you have time for another chapter before walking the dog or cooking dinner. This book hits you in the feels, where you actually FEEL Sam's anguish as he is torn between both worlds. I can't wait for the next one from this amazing new author.

First Time Romance Reader and Loved it

Typically being a horror writer, I was surprised to see myself glued to this book from start to finish. This was the first romance book I've read and I adored it. I constantly had to know what was next. A story that you would assume to be simple was written so beautifully and full of twists. I absolutely recommend this book. Just know, you will be left with all the questions and not in a bad way.
