Description

The shadows of the past are long, but the light of self-discovery is brighter. In the final installment of the Bubbly Duet, the fragile equilibrium of a complex romance faces its ultimate test. Caught in the dangerous, high-stakes world of the mafia, the protagonists must navigate the treacherous waters between survival and their own hearts. This is not merely a story about choosing between two people; it is a raw, unflinching look at what happens when three souls find their missing pieces in one another while the world around them threatens to shatter. As the lines between loyalty and desire blur, the characters face the psychological weight of their choices. Their journey toward healing is messy, painful, and profoundly human. You will witness the quiet strength required to embrace a love that defies societal expectations and the courage it takes to confront one's own vulnerabilities. This novel celebrates the beauty of bisexuality and the intricate bonds of polyamory with honesty and heart. If you are looking for a story that prioritizes deep emotional growth and the messy reality of finding where you truly belong, this resolution will stay with you long after the final page is turned.

Inner Strength, Support, & Healing!

Y.V. Larson’s characters are often so relatable and she shows us that we all have our own journeys we go through where we need to find our inner strength and these characters show us that, yes times may be tough but you can look for help in those you love when you need that extra help. One of the amazing things that is highlighted in this book is that support can come from many different places, it can also come in different forms.. even in those you might not always look towards for it, but if you open yourself up to it and you might find what you need. Whether it's in your family.. or sometimes it can come from a partner, maybe even your close friends. Don’t let those intrusive inner thoughts win. They don’t control you and you can find the strength to get past them inside yourself. Violet's been through so much already & it seems like things get worse before they get better. She’s been fighting the battle inside her head and her heart and it seems like she might just have more mountains to climb after that cliffhanger in part 1. Jamie… ugh seriously, I love this man. There's so much that you could tell Jamie feels and he still puts his love for Violet first and foremost. He knows their relationship isn’t perfect but you can tell he’s more than happy to take the time and put in the work for her. I feel so bad for Nate honestly. He’s been torn for so long that you could just tell that he needs the other to help him as much as they all need him. I don't know about…

story nice

They really took revenge on her because she had to face the pain of her mother being harmed and didn't know how to cope. Even years later, they decided to hurt her again and unfairly blamed her for everything. I really don’t like that. Sure, she ghosted them, but clearly their relationship wasn’t long—just a brief online connection that was about to turn into a face-to-face meeting. It was an entirely online relationship, making their persistent hostility even more unreasonable. It’s ridiculous.

So Deeply Human

The trials and struggles of all the main characters in this duet were so incredibly relatable . Each character’s emotional growth hurt to witness with how close it hit to home. Unlike a lot of romances with polyamory, the representation of insecurities and jealousy felt like I could be right in the book with the main characters. If I was in this relationship there is no way I wouldn’t have insecurities. It’s just not who I am. Just like Petals of Blue, this duet hurt me in the best ways. The writing was so well done and I felt so much while simultaneously not being able to put it down. YV Larson just became an if they write it I will read it author.
