Description

Natalia is a force of nature, a woman who commands every room she enters and lives life strictly on her own terms. She is used to being the one in charge, both in the boardroom and the bedroom, until she meets the one person who refuses to fall in line. When fire meets a firecracker, the result is nothing short of explosive. This third installment in the Dominion series brings a sizzling, high-stakes romance that balances intense emotional tension with sharp, witty banter. As these two strong-willed women navigate a collision of personalities, they learn that true power often lies in the willingness to let go. Their journey is as much about vulnerability as it is about the undeniable heat that draws them together. Readers are calling this a scorcher from the very first page, praising the authentic chemistry and the unapologetic passion that defines the relationship. Between the heartfelt moments and the steamy, pulse-pounding encounters, this story offers a deeply satisfying look at what happens when two hearts finally decide to relinquish control. If you crave a romance that is as fierce as it is romantic, this is the perfect addition to your shelf.

Explosive ending of a amazing series

When fire meets a firecracker, you get Relinquishing Control. What an explosive story. Natalia is exactly the woman we already knew her to be. Powerful, controlling, dominating. An ice queen in her ivory tower. However, she is also protective of those she loves, while respecting her values. She is more than a mentor to Adriana and Lola; she is family. To say that Sam is her perfect match is an understatement. She is pushing just the right amount. She is confident without being arrogant. She is patient and gives Natalia enough space to be her immovable badass self. I love how each book in the Dominion series doesn’t have a third arc breakup, but that doesn’t mean that there is no tension or drama. I very much enjoyed discovering the woman behind the ice queen, not that she is much different, and how Sam’s challenges affected her. The ending was the perfect way to wrap the series up and was beautifully written.

Brilliant, Sexy, Deep

Scorcher of an opening scene, which totally sets the tone of Natalia and invites the reader to buckle in for the rest of the story. If you’ve read the other two books in the Dominion series, you’ve seen pieces of how formidable Natalia is, and finally we get to see the full picture. The dance between Natalia and Sam is one of heat, intensity, and perseverance. The usual sharp and quick humor of the author is prevalent throughout the scenes, and some of the inner dialogue brings Natalia to life as much as her perpetual dominance. Beautiful mix of poignant reflection and seeking to distance as she experiences inescapable connection with members of Sam’s family during gatherings. Extraordinary commentary on feminist perspective, whether in Sam’s research or Natalia’s vision for Dominion, plus smart women being so hot. Brilliant writing, sex scenes aplenty, and deep personal discovery make this book another incredible addition to the Dominion series.

HOT! HOT! HOT!

I’ve read this book cover to cover twice. I really enjoy the two main characters. I enjoy their story, and the sex scenes in this book are HOT. I mean serious steam. I enjoyed their story book so much that I bought an actual paper copy. I know that reading it twice will not be enough. I’ve read most of J.J. Arias’ books and I’m a huge fan. This is by far my favorite sapphic novel to date.
