The Rule of Three: Salacious Legacy, Book 2

All hail Sara Cate, the queen of the throuple. Let me first RAVE about the audio of this book. It's a full cast done in duet style but the main three narrators Brandon Francis, Simone Lewis and Teddy Hamilton are all OUTSTANDING. Extra special shout out to Brandon Francis who has to perform a panic attack scene that left me with tears in my eyes. They all did such an amazing job. 𝟔. 𝐑𝐮𝐥𝐞 #𝟔: 𝐍𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐜𝐤 𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐬. My favorite thing about the premise of this book is that all three of our characters have a meet cute in an elevator. They start as strangers, and then after 12 hours stuck in an elevator, become something more. Julian, Archer and Freya open up to each other in that elevator in ways that link them to each other forever. 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐨𝐮𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐥𝐞𝐠 𝐭𝐨𝐮𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐲 𝐥𝐞𝐠, 𝐈 𝐜𝐚𝐧’𝐭 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐮𝐬 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐧 𝐚 𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧. An anxious s*x club owner, a troubled fighter, and a dreamer all find ways to bring out the best in each other. And Sara finds a way to weave a really spicy romance with an equally touching and emotional book. The way that mental health is handled is with care and respect, and the relationships each character has with their parents is really touching. They each go through something…

Conflicted, complex, and complicated characters comprise all Sara Cate’s books. What could be a better meet-cute than to have 3 chipped and chiseled characters become trapped when a power outage leaves them within an old elevator in a Parisian building where 2 of them reside? What started as a fiery chef catering for a wealthy family’s anniversary, confronts the wealthy son of the anniversary couple, a son who has threatened to fire her, ignites into flames of passionate concern when an anxiety attack begins. All 3 find a shared focus, concern, and attraction. After 12 hours sharing fears, concerns, and hopes, relationship connections begin strand by strand weaving an intricate and complicated Union. Because the characters are so visceral, all flawed, all perfectly imperfect, they perceive in each others what remains invisible to others for each of them share such similar doubts, fears, and desires. Cate’s books deliver characters that connect and expose the craved connections humans need and desire. Loved all 3 of these characters, Julian, Freya, and Archer.
