Description

When Luna Wilder lands a prestigious job as a mixologist at a high-end restaurant, the last thing she expects is to find herself at the center of a complicated, intoxicating connection with her boss and his partner. As she navigates the fast-paced, high-pressure world of professional bartending, the lines between her professional ambitions and her personal desires begin to blur in the most delicious way possible. Triple Sec is a refreshing, hilarious, and unapologetically steamy exploration of polyamory that defies standard romance conventions. This story celebrates the beauty of queer love through a messy, heartfelt, and deeply relatable lens. It is a rare gem that centers a bisexual protagonist finding her place within a dynamic, unconventional relationship, proving that sometimes the best things in life come in threes. With sharp wit, palpable chemistry, and a vibrant setting, this novel captures the thrills and challenges of modern romance with refreshing honesty. If you are looking for a story that breaks the mold while delivering genuine emotional depth and plenty of heat, this is the perfect addition to your shelf. It is a bold, joyful testament to the fact that love is not a zero-sum game, but a recipe meant to be shared.

So much to love!

I was so excited when I saw an LGBTQ+ poly romance was coming up for publication by a major publisher. It’s about time. I hope to see many more because one book (or even two or three) cannot possibly be expected to deliver it all. But Triple Sec really does do a great job of balancing some of the realities of a non monogamous relationship while offering a story that is fun to read and gave me a lot of laugh out loud moments. I’d love to see a movie of this, and I’m not even talking about the sex scenes. There are quite a few of those, obviously, but that’s not what made this such a fun story for me to read. Mel is a great main character with so many relatable characteristics, I honestly felt like I knew her. The other characters are good, too, especially Kade, who seems to be this impossible to know person until we finally get to know them. It’s not a perfect book, and I thought it really started out a little slow. But there are so many things to like about it that I have to give it 5 stars, because in the end, I know I will be thinking about this story for a long time to come. Not to mention my newfound appreciation for the makings of a great cocktail!

Plus one, plus one

It's rare that I find decent FF stories, much less decent polyamory Queer stories and I am really disappointed in myself that I sat on this one so long before reading it. There are times that I need to be in the right frame of mind for a particular story and I pushed against this for some really stupid reason. I really enjoyed the ebb and flow of Mel and BeBe's story. The learning to love again despite having lost before. The realization that you absolutely deserve to be loved in all your iterations. This story brings all of that and so much more. It didn't have the "participation trophy" feel to it at all and yes, they were all winners. Mel needed to learn to let others in, to allow herself to feel and to believe in herself like others did. Sometimes, things in relationships get rocky but the right people are worth the fight as Mel, BeBe and Kade soon learn.

Slow burn romance featuring a lesbian triad

A decent, light-hearted read that is quick pace. Not much character development. Definitely a slow burn. Don’t expect any smut. A nice read in between the heavier books you read.
