Description

Stone Addario lives for the high-stakes adrenaline of the Ricochet Ridge search and rescue team. He is a man defined by his duty, his mountain, and his solitude. That control shatters the moment his long-lost stepbrother arrives, forcing Stone to confront the one person who represents everything he has spent years trying to suppress. Living under the same roof is a powder keg of buried history and undeniable tension. As the winter storms isolate them in the wilderness, the lines between past resentment and present desire begin to blur. They are forced to navigate the freezing slopes and their own volatile chemistry, turning a forbidden connection into something far more dangerous than the avalanches they guard against. This is a story of breathless longing and hard-won trust set against the unforgiving beauty of the peaks. With an enemies-to-lovers spark that burns through the snow, Stone and his brother must decide if their fragile bond is worth the risk of losing everything. Addictive, intense, and deeply emotional, this romance captures the raw vulnerability of finding love where it was strictly off-limits. Prepare to be swept away by this gripping tale of redemption and the heat found in the coldest of places.

Another amazing installment of Ricochet Ridge!!

Stone Addario is the leader of the avalanche search and rescue team on Ricochet Ridge, and he loves his job. Until he finds out that his long lost stepbrother, Hanlon, is on his way out to RR to do an internship on the mountain alongside him. Hanlon is wary of seeing his older stepbrother again. They were never super close, and he always felt like a burden to Stone due to his mild cerebral palsy. He's also a little angry at Stone, considering the second he turned 18, he left Vermont and moved all the way to the other side of the country, barely speaking to Han again. Now Stone is his boss, and their animosity makes it hard to work together. But for some reason, even though Stone has never really felt an attraction to anyone before, his stubborn, sexy stepbrother is awakening all sorts of feelings inside him. But the two men know that there are so many things stacked against them: their family ties, the fact that Stone is Han's boss, and so much more. But unfortunately, the heart wants what the heart wants, and this is a risk that they're willing to take. *happy sigh* I just love Ricochet Ridge. Every single story, though always different, is just so good. Stone and Han had immediate (angry) chemistry, amazing banter, and when they decided they wanted each other, they were all in and totally obsessed. And the way Jillian writes spice? It hits so good every single time. Han's physical limitations were written in a really great way. He didn't allow his disease to hinder…

🩶Stone & Hanlon🩶

🏔 👓 🌬 I don’t know what Jillian puts in her books, but every single one I’ve read is completly addictive! Avalanche was a one-day, couldn’t put it down kind of read, the kind where you start reading faster just to see what happens next. Stone and Hanlon are stepbrothers, and from the start, their relationship is complicated. Their parents tried to force a bond when they were kids, it only created resentment. Especially with the pressure put on Stone and the way Hanlon was treated differently because of his cerebral palsy. When Stone turned 18 he left and rarely made visits home. After years of being apart, Hanlon ends up in Ricochet Ridge for an internship studying Avalanches… working with Stone. Being back together brings back the resentment, but now that they are older, there is a new kind of tension between them. And let me tell you, the tension, the banter between these two, the push, the pull, the slow shift in their dynamic and the different way they start to see each other, its intense but it all just builds so well. Hanlon was especially surprising. He comes across as this quiet, science-focused guy, but in the bedroom he is anything but quiet. The mouth on this man!! 🫠 I was laughing, kicking my feet, gasping, sitting at the edge of my seat, this book had me feeling all the things! Avalanche is the 7th book this year I've read by Jillian and she ALWAYS delivers that perfect mix of angst, swoon and spice! Its completely addicting! Check it out! You do…
