Description

Before the pack was established and before the legend of the Evan’s Alphas began, there was only the raw, undeniable pull between two men destined to change everything. Chad and Peter did not know what they were stepping into when their paths first crossed, but the magnetic intensity between them was immediate and impossible to ignore. This prequel offers a poignant look at the humble, vulnerable beginnings of a connection that would eventually anchor an entire brotherhood. Set against the backdrop of military duty and the hidden, shifting world of shifters, this story strips away the later layers of power and protection to reveal the tender foundation of a lifelong bond. It is a rare treat for fans of the series to witness the first sparks of trust and the quiet moments of intimacy that defined the early days of their romance. Whether you are coming to this story as a longtime devotee of the pack or as a newcomer seeking a powerful, character-driven journey, you will find yourself captivated by the sincerity of their love. Experience the origin of a promise that stands the test of time and discover the heart of a connection that defies all odds.

HOLY!! YES!! LOVE!!

OMG! So I will admit. I LOVE D.J Hearts books. This is the first one I read and I will tell you I just one-clicked all of the other books she has written. I can honestly say I love the books. This is defientely not the last book that I will read. This is about how two characters from a previous book met and I can say I am glad I read this one first. It gave me insight for the series. (Not for sure if this was suspose to read before the sereis or not but I read it first anyways). You have a uber Alpha and a regular Alpha ( don't know if regualr is the right word to use) Anyway Peter is the uber Alpha and the boss, while Chad is the regualr Alpa. This isn't the first book I have read where two Alpha's get together but this is the first one that had me reading the whole book in one sitting. Claimed will keep you interested and guessing what will happen next. Chad isn't so sure getting involved with Peter is such a good thing. He has never been with another ALpha before and doesn't know how to go through with what is going on. Peter loved being with other Alpha's and he has Chad in his sights. Will Chad be able to submit to Peter? Will Peter claim Chad? There is only one way to find out. Read the book. This is a series and I loved every bit of reading about these two. Who knows what else could happen?

Addicting, MM, non-shifter omegaverse book

This was the first book I ever read in the Omegaverse genre and one I have read several times. It is a prequel to the main books and detail how characters met but doesn't feature a lot about omegas in this book, aside from their existing and some thoughts about their treatment. The book is about the power dynamic and relationship between two alpha males with one being a much more dominant "Uber-Alpha." There is a strong theme of BDSM and the sub/dom lifestyle but also each charater learning their limits and what they are both willing to do for the other. There are a few things that happen that I am not entirely ok with but they are fairly minor and are based on my personal preference to shy away from humilation play. Only issues with this book and seeming to be a theme with this authors books are using/interchanging wrong character names. It's annoying but NBD in the grand sceme of things.

Peter and Chad

I read Evan's Alphas years ago before discovering the other books in the series. I loved getting to see Peter and Chad at the beginning of their relationship. This story gives more depth to Peter later in the series and Chad became more rounded out as well. Be forewarned that the domination and submission are intense. Highly recommended author and series
