Description

The Atlantic Ocean holds secrets that were never meant to surface, but for Julian, the RMS Titanic is more than a maiden voyage; it is a gilded cage of expectations. As the son of a wealthy industrialist, his life is meticulously mapped out until he encounters Elias, a man whose presence defies the rigid social boundaries of 1912. Their connection is immediate and dangerous, blossoming in the shadows of the boat deck where the salt air masks the scent of forbidden desire. This sweeping narrative weaves together multiple perspectives, pulling back the curtain on the untold stories of the passengers aboard the doomed liner. As the iceberg looms, the mystery of their families’ legacies begins to unravel, transforming a simple romance into a race against destiny. The prose captures the opulence of the era and the harrowing, visceral reality of the sinking with haunting clarity. Beyond the tragic history, there lies a profound exploration of love that refuses to be extinguished by the freezing depths. This is a story of sacrifice, hidden truths, and the courage to choose one another when the world demands conformity. Experience a gripping, emotional journey where every heartbeat counts and the final choice changes everything forever.

An excellent, well thought out and researched book...

A fantastic new book not to be missed if you like page-turners that keep your interest. This is the story of a young man and his family sailing aboard the TITANIC. Mr. Baker has captured the aura of the ship and the details of a klatch of her more well known passengers perfectly. The historical research is obvious and it shows. And he has created an epic family drama to match the background on which it takes place. This is a great read and keeps your attention throughout the entire story. Gotta warn you though, it is tough to put it down and you just might find yourself staying up all night to find out what happens to the main characters. This book had my attention locked-in by page five. And one more thing... keep a box of tissues close at hand, this is one poignant, heartfelt narrative. Not only a great love story, but one of life and conscious soul searching. Get it, get comfortable, and get lost in it. I did.

Interesting take on a well known story

Multiple povs and the plot resolves itself neatly. Complex characters, rich descriptions of imagery and scenes-especially the sinking.
