In the mist-shrouded landscapes of medieval England, an unlikely connection defies the boundaries of time and status. When an American woman finds herself drawn into the rigid, storied life of a remote British estate, she encounters the formidable Lady Chatelaine. As they navigate the complexities of duty, heritage, and the heavy expectations of a bygone era, a tender and transformative romance blossoms between them. This story moves beyond traditional period tropes, offering a deeply intimate look at two women discovering who they are meant to be in each other’s arms. The prose is lush and atmospheric, capturing the quiet tension of the English countryside and the internal growth of characters who must choose between their prescribed lives and the truth of their hearts. A Great Love Story

I loved this book because it was a different kind of story with two wonderful main characters. The book is set in the UK with one woman from the U.S. and one from the UK. The English lady lives in a castle and dedicates her life to taking care of her ancestral property. She and her two brothers are joint owners of the castle. One brother wants to turn the castle into a golf resort. Reese (the sister) lives in the castle and vehemently opposes this plan. Ariana (American gal) is visiting her former nanny who lives near the castle. This is how the love story begins and there is a lot more to the story. I highly recommend reading My Lady Chatelaine.

Great read

I’m a big fan of Natalie’s books and this one was really enjoyable! Great story and characters! Maybe a prequel book for Lady H would be a great follow up 🤞🏼

But, but, but

This story was marvelous with the characters and environment. It made me want to take it all in IRL. I've always dreamed of exploring the UK, and this book is part of solidifying that plan. (Small spoiler) But what about the hidden room?

Excellent read.

Once again you captured my attention from word one. This, and every oth CDer CD novel, is a story of personal growth and finding a new release in the complex world of sexual relationships. Please keep sending more stories. Maybe a 5th N.D. Shar novel?
