Wylder and Neo sitting in a tree....

How satisfying this must be for Lark Taylor and Cora Rose to be able to make so many people happy with this series! I am one of them. I adore an MC like Neo whose heart and soul can be invested in seeing inside someone and HELP. This he did for Wylder who Lord knows needed it to not end up in a cage totally forever with his monster. I'd like to reincarnate their father just to let me unalive him for what he did to Wylder. Wylder doesn't have DID, but if the father was still alive he might. As it is I do agree with the other review that said he might be a bit on the spectrum. So Neo grew up in foster homes, and it takes Wylder some time to understand how that has effected him(Ansel helps) but Neo seems to have an innate sense of what Wylder needs. I enjoyed watching the relationship change in so many ways. I love Dotty, she brings a droll sense of fun. The other couples are usually present which gave me a sense of family.,And I enjoyed watching them accept Neo too. This was a very satisfying story in many ways and now I am looking forward to Samson's story.

Great continuation to this series!

“What kind of monster have I created?” I flash him a dangerous grin. “You didn’t create him, Neo, you just set him free.” Vigilant is such a great continuation of this series! We got to see a little bit of Neo and Wylder's dynamic in Deviant and it was so fun to see it lead to a HEA in this one. "My heart aches at the easy consideration he offers me. Is this what it’s like to have someone care about you? I don’t like it. It’s too scary. Too dangerous. Too addictive." Wylder's always been an intriguing character because he hides so much of himself, even from the ones he loves. I honestly didn't realize just how deep he goes until this book. I'll admit, there were moments in the first few chapters where I was a little annoyed with Neo because his bratty antics were causing even more stress to Wylder. But it quickly became clear that Wylder needed just that to break him out of his routine and that Neo helped him reach those pieces that he's hidden from himself too. "There’s no one I trust more in this world. He’s able to see past the mask I put on, to the real me inside. He knows exactly what I need, and he makes sure I get it." Once you realize Neo's motivations and learn about his past, it's easy to see that Wylder's brand of possessive love is exactly what he needs. It may have taken Wylder longer to fall, but once he did, he's all the way in. I also loved that Neo was never afraid to stand up for himself and Wylder. They brought out the best in each other and gave each…

This series is *chefs kiss*

I'm lost for words. Wylder ❤️❤️❤️ needed Neo to love both him & his monster! I loved how hard Wylder fell. Cora and Lark were advertising this book with a quote "Neo fell first, but Wylder fell harder" and boy they weren't kidding. The swooning was so 🔥🔥 and the 🌶️ scenes.... 🥵 But even with that I love that in this series you have spice but you ALSO have plot. I don't like books that is all about spice, or just the story. I love books that are good amount of both
