Description

Grief is a heavy burden, but sometimes it takes another broken heart to help you find your way back to the light. Isa and Liam have both walked through the fire of devastating loss. For Isa, the death of his first mate left him isolated, burying his pain deep within the confines of his work. Liam has faced his own haunting tragedy, leaving him scarred and searching for a sense of belonging in a world that feels increasingly cold. When their paths cross, they discover an unexpected sanctuary in one another. This installment of the Breaking Free series explores the delicate, transformative power of healing after trauma. It is a story about the courage required to open up again when you have every reason to stay closed off. Beyond the werewolf lore and the intense emotional stakes of the omegaverse, this novel shines as a profound study of resilience and the quiet intimacy that grows between two men learning to trust again. If you have followed this series, you know the emotional depth A.M. Arthur brings to her characters, and their journey toward hope is the most poignant chapter yet. It is a testament to the idea that being found is only the beginning.

Found

*Copy provided to Bayou Book Junkie for my reading pleasure in hopes of an unbiased opinion, a review was not a requirement.* Found is Book 4 in A.M. Arthur's Breaking Free series and you really have to read this series in the appropriate order as there are storylines that continue from the very first book. Isa is an older alpha who had lost his mate and has three sons. He’s a Senior Constable and he’s surprised to find another mater when they raid the fight club. Liam wants nothing to do with alphas except for Isa who makes him feel safe. Isa and Liam have a lot to figure out in their lives before they mate, especially when an alpha sued for custody of Liam and his baby. I really loved Liam and Isa. Despite the age gap, they worked really well together. Liam’s has to grow up and mature fast with everything he’s gone through. I was happy that the court cases finally happened and with the outcomes. It was great seeing Isa rebuild a relationship with his sons and seeing their family come together for Liam. I didn’t think this story was as heartbreaking as some of them have been. There were some tense moments, so it’s not a fluffy read though. I love many of the characters in this series and was really happy they were all in this book, for the most part. There were some food future characters introduced so I hope that means we get more! Rating: 5 stars!

Great series.

I love this series and this author. This was a trope I had not read much of, but can honestly say A M Arthur does it really well. An unlikely pairing, Constable Isa Higgs, widowed and 20 yrs senior to Liam. Liam Haley, victim of an illegal fighting ring and pregnant was rescued by Isa , what they didn't expect was to feel the bonding .

Another fantastic story

I'm just loving this whole series and Found was another fantastic addition. If you've read the other stories, and you really should have before you read this one for the full effect, then you may not have ever thought of Liam and Constable Higgs (Isa) getting together, but this is written so well you can't imagine them being with anyone else. Not only did I really like learning about and watching Liam and Isa come together as a couple, but I loved how much the characters from the previous books took part in this story. It was great to not only see how they're progressing but also I feel like I'm still learning more about them each as individuals and if possible just liking them that much more. I've really loved seeing more and more of Braun, from the first story, and seeing even more of who he is now that he's happy and loved. I'm hoping and looking forward to more stories in this universe. I feel like there was enough groundwork laid that a lot more stories could be drawn from, and hopefully the characters are stepping forward and telling their tales so we can enjoy them. As I've mentioned, for the full effect of this story the others should have been read first, so I don't really need to go on and on about how much I loved this story because at this point you already know what to expect. I will just say, because they're things I'd want to know: Yes, this story is at least as good as the others if not better. Yes, this story is its own and not just a retelling of a…
