Everyone loves a organized Shadow Daddy!🤣

"Imprint? You imprinted on me? Like a baby duck?" " I am a prince of the Shadow Realm." " I have legions at my command. I have power you cannot comprehend. I am not a duckling!" 1st Person POV, Single MM Plot 4/5 Spice 2/5 Shadow Daddy/ Human This was more on the lighthearted side of thing, while it did have some moments that made me wanna cry ( I am a bit emotional okay! 🤣) The overall story was so much fun! The way Hex just inserts himself into Adams life and once Adam accepts it, its game over... I laughed so much when Hex starts reorganizing everything in Adams apartment! Big ol Shadow Daddy getting bored while his human works so he entertains himself by organizing shelves! 🤣🤣 Then you have the side characters! Which Felix is gold!! I cannot wait for his book! That sassy little witch is gonna raise hell for sure and I cant wait!

I'm sad it's already over...

S. Rodmans books randomly made a home in my head, with warm blankets, ice coffee and rain drizzling on the windows. For me, the books became that TV show you watch over and over because you know what's going to happen, your excited about it and both those things calm your anxiety and give you a break from the real world. So, yeah, I had high expectations for Shadow Prince. I found this story to have this constant undercurrent of melancholy and grief that I struggled with at first. The sadness seemed to dim anything that was sweet, hot or exciting. Like, you weren't allowed to forget that bad things were coming. And the bad things weren't exciting plot fodder. No. It was a quiet profound devastation that would just hurt for no freaking reason. Then the tone changed, naturally. It ebbed into a strong yet soft love that I could easily believe would last forever. Wrapped in warmth and unassuming. In the end I realized my struggle steamed from the absolutely realistic nature of the main character. This may be a book about supernatural beings but Adam, he is just a broken young man with a very relatable defenses. He thinks and acts in a way that is so realistic it is unsettling. The whole book just had this realness that I wasn't prepared for. I imagined my great grandparents during WW2. Grandma waiting at home. Doing her best to be strong because she can't do anything else. Grandpa off fighting even though he just wanted to be in her arms. An epic love story that nobody will…
